1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using ResumeRight ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including individual job seekers, recruiters, hiring managers, and company account holders.

2. Service Description

ResumeRight provides:

• AI-powered resume enhancement and standardisation.
• Resume tailoring to specific job descriptions.
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring.
• Probabilistic candidate-to-job matching.
• Interactive Resume Builder and Job Description Creator.
• Team and company management features.

The Service uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all output before use.

3. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload content that is offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise unprofessional.
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated professional credentials.
• Attempt to circumvent content filters, rate limits, or security measures.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means.
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
• Upload malicious files, inject code, or attempt to compromise system integrity.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

5. Pricing

ResumeRight is currently provided entirely free of charge. No payment or credit card is required to use any feature. We do not collect or store any payment information.

We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, existing free users will be notified in advance and will never be charged without explicit consent.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all documents, resumes, and text you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Our Platform

The ResumeRight platform, including its NLP pipeline, algorithms, taxonomy, UI design, and branding, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

6.3 AI-Generated Output

Enhanced resumes, tailored documents, and other AI-generated output are provided for your personal or professional use. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the output as you see fit.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Company & Team Accounts

• Company admins are responsible for managing their team members and ensuring compliance with these terms.
• Team members' data (name, email, role) is visible to other members within the same company.
• Company accounts may have separate usage limits.
• Removing a member from a company does not delete their individual account.

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page and the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
